A socialist and an altruist understand the realities surrounding the basic human right to have not just their own, but all human beings’ basic human needs met. That, in these evolved times of 2020, not just the ‘concept’ of basic human needs but the practice of meeting them is possible and, has been done without any signs of such poverty caused to the capitalist.
The altruist and socialist with their basic needs earned. Usually by way of manually labouring long hours and many under harsh conditions, because they are able bodied, or disabled with capabilities to earn, by way of concentration on any work they can do, hopefully beside and/or serving their practices of Altruism or Socialism. They each and all , often in their spare time, try to help those without basic human needs. They know it is certainly possible, in these UK countries of great wealth and pre-established laws for enabling and organising such. Those laws made only after much sufferings of many of their predecessors. By humane beings with generous hearts and, minds of clarity about that. Except, that today there are monied capitalists chipping away at those laws pre-established, even though they have more than plenty for themselves, their children and grandchildren plus a few more generations to boot. Obscene amounts of money that many of them have and often allegedly, unlawfully hide away abroad from the reach of the UK tax collectors.
The two types, altruists and socialists, are more often than not, united in the generous hearted and minded causes to meet the needs of those without basic human needs. Not only in countries of great wealth, but also abroad. They’ve been publicly known to form or join clubs and groups, indeed, gather and win seats in political arenas. All in order to establish the supply and proper distribution of basic human needs, for themselves and those without such things that are more than important to human development, they are vital. Sadly there are many corrupting the orderly and proper distribution of wealth gathered for that purpose. Going about as though they are not wrong to do so. Shamelessly so.
Capitalists are publicly known to take basic needs for granted and appear to think themselves above ‘earning’ anything as simple as their own basic needs. They can though, be heard to decry that their capitalistic bents are true as their basic human need. That, though in general, we can clearly see, they have servants fulfilling theirs. Caterers, cleaners, clothiers, farmers, launderers, sanitary water ensurers, mothers, wives, lovers etc. All those apparently beneath capitalists. Who continuously take them all for granted but, at the same time ‘need’ them and often are heard or seen to be cruelly using them. Sometimes in exchange for the monies capitalists are addicted to. But never paying them fairly or enough. Which many are expected to be more satisfied than a capitalist would be, by the money capitalists order them worth, if any. That in order to establish themselves(capitalists) in the ‘money markets’ as superior in money. Giving them the delusion that they are superior in all things. That, due to their ‘money market’ successes. They too, often join clubs or groups that exclude those not holding as much monied benefits as themselves but are served by them. What they discuss or order therein is held secret by and to, only them. They too have members or fellows who desire to corrupt.
Meanwhile the people servicing the ‘capitalists’ self serving desires, are scrabbling around trying to get their own basic needs themselves or, finding their way around the established service points . That for shame, has often been heard to amuse many corrupt of mind and heart, capitalists.
Those considered way way beneath the capitalist mind-settings, are finding themselves beholden to the whims of the monied, and their pre-established, exclusive clubs, groups and money markets. Which basically are from a gambling den of stone-hearted beings, devoid of any mental capacity that is not in the shark infested waters of the money markets. Those markets swallow up the caterers, cleaners, clothiers, farmers, launderers, mothers, wives, lovers & money market failures etc. Who find out too late that they are now slaves to the people addicted to money, all it has purchased them and, the mindless addictions to gambling in the money markets. That as demanded by, officially employed or unemployed, stone hearted capitalist money market gambling addicted, money addicted inhumane humans.
Unemployment for the ‘ordinary’ working person, being ‘catered’ for by said capitalists who also take over whole countries and make decisions about basic needs to serve only them. Who are not for the ordinary now unemployed person at all, in fact treating those as if they are a vile stench under their noses. Also that same lot, in great money gained positions, are in no way experienced about being an ordinary working person, never mind those now finding themselves unemployed. Most monied capitalists having inherited their paternal or maternal parents’ assets, monies and cruel habits. So indeed are certainly not, ‘qualified’ by established capitalist schooling, to make such important decisions or arrangements for the ordinary working person. That monied Capitalist’s only fear is losing their unmanageable by their own selves, huge estates and hoards of money, plus collections of things they do not even dust. Many relying on agents to make collection purchases. Probably too busy of minds, set on gambling and arranging money market bets. Most I met and worked for were quick to irritability if not anger.
I’m a mindful Altruist, with a working person’s aim to be independent of others for my money, by way of my own labour in exchange for that. Not the simplest thing when born with a debilitating and intermittently disabling, ‘invisible’ illness and, too early in life traumatised resulting in what is today known as ill mental health. Which is generally accepted in this troubled UK, as another reason to be labelled disabled.
Born into this entire mess, as are we all, without exception that I’ve heard of. That mess pre-existing Capitalists with too much money, seemingly invented and invested in solely for their own amusement. Having become bored with their pampered existences much of which involved barbaric cruelty. Added to today by their descendants, with repetitive but modernised methodologies known only to them the reasons for making the same mistakes as their ancestors leading populations to kill, to maim, to war…for making them more money and their other whatever’s. Still cruel and unwilling to work at their own chores.
I discover, during my latter years, that there is another label for me, joining all the others. It is ‘Socialist’ because I have a socialist heart and the moral principles of a socialist about workers. Principles of socialism, there’s another thing capitalists differ with me about, principles. I already believed all that is alive, has the right to be alive, whether or not I agree with their living habits or ways, which apparently puts me under the label altruist(those labels keep multiplying). Whether I like living beings or not, my heart loves them. I was born with that heart, a love of all life. I’ve learnt to separate like and love. Those I love often doing things I neither like nor approve of or, think of as reasonable.
I’ve served by way of my work, since 15 years old. Albeit intermittently according to my physical, not mental, ill health. My mental ill health totally ignored by everyone until very recently. I contributed to that by not revealing it. Programmed to do so. I laboured hard, not using my hobbies to earn money as I wasn’t educated well enough to read and write well, not to dwell on talk well… I loved, since very young, drawing & painting pictures of views in my mind, not necessarily of the Earth. And I loved, so much, creating unusual sculptures from clay or other bits and bobs. I did well at those in school but that too went unrecognised by those important to me and my development. I also, since very young, loved writing poetically. My education was equipped only for the able of mind and body, which of course, excluded me. One of my sisters recently responded to my request for help with punctuation, grammar and ‘flow’. I am practising, while I attempt to gain therapeutic benefit from my writings.
Anyhow, from a young underdeveloped 15 year old, I found myself labouring in exchange for little monies, to pay my bills and for my ways. Doing so at tasks capitalists, shy of an honest days work, do not like doing. Looking after their children, cleaning their bodies, clothes, dishes and, huge places they call homes, often with more than one. Which many a worker, including myself before injury while at work, does not understand the need for as we who are able, do our own. I also did well as a GPO telephonist, branching out as a telephonist/receptionist/typist. But eventually due to circumstances way out of my control, returned to the servitude methods of earning my money, until injury added to pre-existing disability’s.
We, the disabled, myself and others I’ve encountered, prefer to be educated well in ‘basic’ and other skills, so that we are placed as equals not lesser beings, in the work place. Accommodating whatever needs we have during our education and work years. As state or private education is compulsory, it surely must serve us equally, instead of taking advantage of, those forcibly made unequal, for whatever reason or purpose. Making us to serve all menial tasks capitalists choose not to do, in favour of gambling or being employed for the fields only found in the outrageously over indulged, money markets. Were we disabled people educated properly and, in the UK, lawfully, Capitalists would have to do their own menial chores.
Those of us among the UK population, disabled or not, of ‘work to earn our keep’ mindsets, mostly just want to drink sustainably clean water, have a sustainable home we can clean and otherwise manage ourselves and, be able to buy sustainable food and clothing, adding a few, sustainably sourced, out of the workplace, hobby whims of our own. Expecting the fairly priced, service and provision of our amenities, including the cleansing of sewage, which in my opinion should be the highest paid work, among all amenity service workers. And to be able to afford entertainment we enjoy relaxing to after work. For me it was comedy, believably acted drama, music and equipment for my artistic hobbies and to exercise in fresh, hopefully clean, air. That, while enjoying the odd holiday away, when financially possible, to enjoy the fantastic scenery found in these British Isles or abroad. I say this because I’ve met, encountered many people who feel similarly. Often enjoying competitive sports too. Whilst gently tending to our children without wanting threat or actuality of any unlawful practices or the behaviour leading to crimes that harm us and our children’s development. Which we’re supposed, by laws and law upholding forces, to be protected from but, find that we are not. I’d prefer governments who deliver these things, as a thank you to the population for paying our taxes.
Don’t get me started on how I believe that the capitalists have effected religions to suit their avaricious desires….maybe I have already…my hobby’s now turned to therapeutic writing due to illnesses and injuries both mental and physical that forced me out of the workplace. Sharing my efforts freely, whether others want to read them or not and, I’ll add here that I believe caring well is not a crime. Nor should it ever be deemed as such.
There are many potential capitalists, going about pretending they are entitled to lay claims that they have basic human needs to keep being avaricious. They often leave out the term ‘basic’ but then place themselves in the category of those trying to access any and all benefits established for those with actual basic human needs. The capitalist does it in order to purchase things considered by most humans as luxuries. Certainly not a ‘basic’ human need like clean water food and clothing are.
Many humans, like us in the UK, caused much harm internally and abroad, unwittingly, that ignorant mind set was established before we were born. We altruists and socialists are mostly making amends, teaching each other the many lessons we should have been taught in school about those wrongs. Instead amongst ourselves, forging ahead with demands on governments by petitions, to go in the directions that make all humans able to at the very least, eat sustainable foods, drink clean water and, buy sustainable clothing. Also, sadly today we need to petition our government to stop assisting those who consistently make money by ruining this very planet we live on. That without any displayed shame.
Cheerio all and ‘laters’ friends in altruism and socialism, may our battles be lessened and the lives of those in need be improved….Bear hugs no claws for all with better living standards for all in mind. Whether or not we anger or baffle each other.🤗
PS: See any UK politician’s and Lord+Lady’s lifestyle and expense account for an example of those claiming for more. The capitalists who’re pretending that their claims are for them to meet their basic human needs. Which funds they take from monies paid, by and for public fund pools made available if not ready, for the use of meeting the costs of all proper and law abiding public services. That to meet the basic human needs of ordinary working people here in the UK or, abroad of recent and historic harm caused by those bulldozing their people and lands. Of course corruption is unacceptable and those corrupting, should be brought to justice and re-educated about that, if not shamed.
